Kraig joined the OBCC team in 2007. People often ask what a Technical Arts Pastor does. In short if it is powered and displays, projects, amplifies, or is heard at OBCC he is responsible for it.
Kraig attended North Central University in Minneapolis where he studied Youth Ministries. After college he received his License to Preach with the Assemblies of God where he served as a Youth Pastor and as an Administrative Pastor in Minnesota, California and South Dakota.
Kraig also possesses a long list of technical experience. He has worked in the Information Technology and Computer Support fields for over 12 years working for Compaq, Micron Electronics and as the IT Director at Trinity Bible College. Kraig also worked as a professional/volunteer lighting designer, crew supervisor and repair tech for 7 years while he lived in Minneapolis.
Kraig married his best friend from college Jennifer in 1993. Jennifer received her BS in Mass Communications with Theatre emphasis and a minor in Broadcasting from North Central Univerisy. Jennfer is a full-time stay at home mother and works part-time as a DJ for KSLT in Rapid City. She also serves on the PTA and Black Hills Autism Society boards.
Kraig and Jennifer’s family consists of four children. Jarod made his appearance in 1998 followed by Ryan in 2000. Kati joined the family in 2002 and Lucy made her grand entrance in 2008.
In his free time Kraig enjoys restoring his 1969 Honda motorcycle, spending time with his family, going to a movie with his wife and occasional computer gaming.
