 The Open Bible Christian Center Altar Ministry exist to help new believers in Christ and those who have re-dedicated their lives to Christ, stay connected with God and become rooted and grounded in God’s Word. 

Our goal is to connect with each person on a personal level, where they know they are genuinely cared about, help them establish them in the Word of God as well as assist them to get plugged in to one of Open Bible’s discipleship growth courses. 

              Why does this ministry matter?

 Because many people who receive Christ end up going right back into the worldly environment that influences them away from God again.

One of our goals is noted in The Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13:3-9, 18-23, there are many dangers that can cause the new believer to stumble. As we work in the Lords garden, it is the Altar Ministries desire to help ensure the planted seed of the Word of God in the hearts of the new believer have a chance to be nourished and grow to allow the new believer to enjoy the peace and fulfillment of becoming a mature disciple.
