Missions
Open Bible Christian Center is a missions minded church. Generally between 20%-25% of our operating budget goes to global and home missions. The following are specific missionary endeavors we are currently supporting.

Open Bible World Evangelism
This is our parent denomination's evangelism program that targets five points of need outside the local church. Every dollar given to the World Evangelism program goes to the following area. International Ministries (Global) 50%, Mission USA (church planting) 20%, Eugene Bible College (leadership training) 15%, Church Ministries (national youth, children, etc.) 10%, National Ministry Development (ministry assistance and development) 5%.

Open Bible International Missions (Designated)
Our church gives monthly support from general tithes and offerings to designated Open Bible missions projects through Open Bible's International Outreach Program. Also special designated giving is forwarded from individuals.

Elida Children's Home (India)
Our church sends individually designated funds to the Elida Children's Home, an Open Bible supported orphanage in India.

Ukraine (Leadership training for churches through INSTE)
Designated support from individuals, to this ministry outreach in the former Soviet Union.

Short-term Mission Trips
Designated giving to teams that travels into Mexico, Africa, India, Russia, or wherever there is opportunity.

Church Planting
Our church is heavily involved in church planting, having started numerous churches spread out across the United States.
 

Eugene Bible College
We give monthly support to our association's college in Eugene, Oregon. We believe that providing affordable ministerial leadership training to those called into ministry is definitely a part of any multi-dimensional missions vision.

Benevolence Giving
Our church invest substantially in taking care of the needy among us through emergency giving, disaster relief, neighborhood aid networks, etc.

Cornerstone Rescue Mission
Our church gives monthly support to our local homeless shelter and is in charge of preparing and serving one evening meal a month.

Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center
Our church gives monthly support to the Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center in Rapid City providing counseling and care to women and families in regard to family planning and other related areas of need.

Seniors in Action
We sponsor a free meal and entertainment, monthly, to senior citizens of our community sharing the love of Jesus and letting seniors know they are valued by us.

Community Outreach
We sponsor many community events to provide family friendly activities as well as opportunities for positive fellowship.
